What does this mod do?

This game is supposingly fun, or at least according to the reviews. But when I played it, it felt like some kind of cash grabbing machine that sucks the fun out of the game. It's good to see that games are adopting the Freemium model as when done well, it can attract a lot of customers. But when failed, well, it results in frustration and people will leave the game.
